Heartsease is commonly and traditionally used for skin disease, and de-toxing. Its actions include; anti-inflammatory, diuretic, laxative, anti allergic, as well as being rich in zinc. It has been used for alleviating conditions associated with the lungs, chest, as well as external itching, scabs and hand ulcers.
In skin care it is used for eczema, psoriasis, acne, and cradle cap.
